Neustein Urban - Planning design architecture

What if my development has been refused

Even if a project appears to comply with all relevant planning controls and should be approved, an application for development consent is sometimes refused by the council. Lack of 100% compliance with planning controls is the most frequent reason for refusal. We can assess your project and advise on the steps you need to follow to get approval.

Neustein Urban has been involved in over 600 planning appeals in the Land and Environment Court (LEC) of NSW. We have advised state government bodies, councils, large and small developers and individuals concerning planning appeals.

Our goal is to secure the optimal environmental and planning outcome for planning appeals. This sometimes brings us into conflict with council opinions. We are specialists in explaining the rules, even to the council which made them. We represent our clients' interests in Court, or at mediations and other types of alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
